Root Privileges

Does the Agent need to run as root?

No. The Agent does not require root privileges by default. It should run as a regular user (for example, fuse). Performing control actions on servers that require root privileges (such as web servers) can be done by allowing the fuse user to "sudo" as root, and specifying sudo as the prefix in the server's control configuration.
